5. Log Files

Slide Cold follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

6. Data Storage and Security

• Instagram session data is encrypted using AES-256 before storage
• Passwords are never stored in plaintext — only bcrypt hashes
• API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes (the raw key is shown only once at creation)
• All data is stored in PostgreSQL databases with encrypted connections (TLS)
• Infrastructure is hosted on secure, access-controlled servers with regular security updates
• All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
• Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your data to the best of our ability.

7. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We share data only with the following service providers, each operating under their own privacy policies:

• Stripe — Payment processing. We do not store your credit card information. Governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Google — Authentication via Google Sign-In. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare — CDN, DDoS protection, and bot mitigation (Turnstile). Governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

8. Data Retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active
• Conversation messages are retained for the duration of your subscription
• Upon account deletion, all data (including connected Instagram accounts, conversations, campaigns, and audiences) is permanently removed within 30 days
• Billing records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax/legal compliance as required by law
• Log files are retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes

9. Cookies and Web Beacons

Like any other website, Slide Cold uses "cookies." These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.
